A laboratory, not a collection franchise
Demo Diagnostics has run from Andheri since 2011. We started as a single collection centre with one semi-automated analyser and a pathologist who read every slide personally. The analysers have changed; the second part has not.
What we are accredited for
We hold NABL accreditation for clinical biochemistry, haematology, clinical pathology and immunoassay. Accreditation is not a certificate on a wall — it means an assessor comes and audits our records, our calibrations and our internal quality control, and can withdraw the scope if we cannot show them.
How we handle a critical result
Some values need somebody to act today, not when the report is opened. When one comes up, the pathologist calls you or your referring doctor before the report is released, and the report records who was told and when. It is the one part of the process that is deliberately not automated.
